Product Warranty and Returns Policy

PRODUCT WARRANTY

Minnie & MAE’s reputation for quality is the result of our continued commitment to product development and the relationships we have with our manufacturers who ensure only the highest quality materials are used in the manufacture of all our products.  It is for this reason we are proud to guarantee all our products for a period of six (6) months from date of purchase.

Should at any time during the warranty period you have a concern which you believe is covered by warranty please follow the procedures outlined under the Section titled ‘Consumer Guarantees’.

Terms and Conditions of Warranty

The warranty is extended to the original owner of the products, determined by our sales records.

The product must be used in accordance with its intended purpose.

The warranty is void if the products care instructions have not been followed or the product has been misused.  This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Washing products at temperatures in excess of those specified on the products care instructions
  • Using detergents that contain enzymes, whiteners, dyes, bleach or fabric softeners
  • Placing products in direct sunlight to dry
  • The product being modified in any way including removing care labels

Inclusions

The warranty covers product faults that arise from the manufacturing process including elastics, snaps, zippers, stitching, PUL and fabric flaws.

Exclusions

The warranty does not cover:

  • PUL delamination or damage resulting from non-compliant wash and care routines
  • Damage caused to nappy shells due to non-compliant wash and care routines
  • Damage to inserts, including but not limited to staining, resulting from normal wear and tear, non-compliant wash and care routines or any other environmental factor outside of our control
  • Damage to any product arising from an environmental factor outside of our control
  • Any damage arising from misuse of the product
  • Leaking
  • Staining
  • Nappy odour
  • Normal wear and tear
  • Pilling
  • Snags
  • Shrinkage in natural fibers.

CHANGE OF MIND

Purchase of Clearance Items and Products Classified as Seconds

The purchase of any product identified as a clearance or seconds item is final and is an exception to our returns policy.  This exception does not apply to any returns made in accordance with Consumer Guarantees (see below), or otherwise as required by law.

Purchase of Mystery Bags

The purchase of any mystery bag is final and is an exception to our returns policy.  This exception does not apply to any returns made in accordance with Consumer Guarantees (see below), or otherwise as required by law.

Request to Change an Order

Should, prior to your order being shipped, you wish to amend your order please submit your request using the 'Product Warranty and Return form' which can be accessed here and include the details of the changes you wish to make.

One of the Minnie & MAE team will then be in contact to confirm the requested amendments prior to your order being fulfilled.

Order Cancellation

Should, prior to your order being shipped, you request to cancel your order Minnie & MAE will refund the total order value including shipping less a processing fee which is calculated at 10% of the total order value capped to a maximum of $19.95.

Any request to cancel an order must be in writing using the 'Product Warranty and Returns form' which can be accessed here.

Returns and Exchanges

If you have changed your mind about your purchase, Minnie & MAE will be pleased to offer you a refund or exchange provided that you request to return or exchange the items within seven (7) days of receipt of your order and the item/s are in an unused, as new condition.  The change of mind limit does not apply to any returns made in accordance with Consumer Guarantees (see below), or otherwise as required by law.

Any request to return or exchange an item/s within your order must be emailed in writing using the 'Product Warranty and Returns form' which can be accessed here.

Following the receipt of your request one of the Minnie & MAE team will be in contact to confirm the information you require to return the product.  When returning or exchanging items for change of mind you are responsible for all shipping costs and if a refund is agreed a processing fee will be payable and calculated at 10% of the total order value capped to a maximum of $19.95.  Please note shipping costs and Route shipping protection are non-refundable for change of mind returns and exchanges.

Following the return and inspection of returned/exchanged items your refund will be processed via the original payment method stated on your proof of purchase.

CONSUMER GUARANTEES

As a consumer, you are entitled to the benefit of statutory consumer guarantees in respect of items purchased from Minnie & MAE.  If you believe an item is faulty, not of acceptable quality, does not match the description provided or is not fit for purpose, you may be entitled to a remedy under Australian Consumer Law.  However these consumer guarantees do not apply where the item was damaged caused by abnormal use or misuse or returned simply due to change of mind.

If you have received your order and are concerned an item may contain defects in materials or workmanship please email us using the 'Product Warranty and Returns form' which can be accessed here and include photos to evidence the concerns you are raising.

On receipt of your email a member of the Minnie & MAE team will assess your concerns and be in contact to discuss the appropriate course of action.  This could include, but is not limited to the product being returned so the item can be repaired, replaced or value of the item being refunded.

Should a request be made for the item to be returned Minnie & MAE will cover the shipping costs and you will be provided the return address and instructions for lodging the product with Australia Post.

If the product is to be replaced it will be exchanged, subject to availability, with an equivalent product of the same design and colour.
